Unified Past is a power progressive rock band from Syracuse, New York. Their latest recording, “Shifting the Equilibrium”, was released on September 15, 2015 and has received rave reviews in the progressive rock circles. The recording contains 6 power prog compositions,clocking in at 56 minutes. The addition of grammy award winning vocalist Phil Naro showed that the band is continuing to grow and evolve and are a band that prog rock fans should really get to know. Guitarist Stephen Speelman possesses a master’s degree in classical guitar performance, bass player Dave Mickelson is currently a member of Joey Belladonna’s Chief Big Way and newest member, drummer Roger Banks, has earned himself a well deserved reputation as one of Canada’s leading drummers for bands like Sarasin.
